Last year our main man B-Roc (of The Knocks fame) dropped his debut mix on the world, aptly titled The Transplant. It ruled and all (and you can and probably should still check it out here), but now that he's back with the next installment, The Transplant II, that original effort seems like nothing more than a prelude to the greatness of its amazing sequel. He's been hard at work on it since we were on tour with him and Samuel on the west coast last month, and believe us the effort paid off. This is easily our favorite mix of all time, replete with Neon Gold classics both old and new. ReplyDeleteNeedless to say I've had this track stuck on repeat, to which I owe you heaps of gratitude- sound track to my summer. I think it might be in the first Transplant track but I noticed B Roc includes his Knocks version of Sleepyhead and it got me wondering whether he has his own independent versions of DJ by Alphabeat or Foster the People's Pumped up Kicks. The way he mixes those in Transplant II is unreal and has left me wanting full lengths of both those tracks. The remixes of those songs I've found online can't even touch the clips he includes in Transplant II, and to be honest, the originals aren't really cutting it for me either now.
