The newest starlet from the pop graceland to bless us with her presence goes by the name of Marlene ∞, presumably pronounced "Marlene Forever", but it's hard to ever know for sure with those crazy Swedefolk. Debut single "Bon Voyage" is a temperamental ocean of salty-smooth brilliance, as her mood bubbles to the surface atop buoyant synth flourishes and her silky come-hither vocals lock you into a sensual R&B beat. Think Yadi meets Kate Boy, or just the perfect better-late-than-never addition to your summer soundtrack.

Between their first two singles and ridiculous remix track record, Little Daylight is yet to make a misstep in the brief amount of time they've shared with us here on earth. Now the Brooklyn trio is back with their shiny new single, "Glitter & Gold", an exquisite solar-powered daydream showcasing the vocal dexterity of The Naked & Famous and the cage-rattling jungle beats of Kate Boy.

This week belongs to Kate Boy. The Swedish shadow kids make their US debut at Popshop NYC this Thursday, before their completely sold out Popshop BK show Saturday, and their LA debut next Monday at Popshop West. And to top it all off, their newest video for "The Way We Are" arrives today, the perfect vessel for their irresistible tundra-fox-meets-jungle-cat blend of pop prowess and hedonistic energy. Self-produced and self-directed, it's a striking visual composition that looks like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo zoning in and out of reality. Hailing from both Sweden and Australia, Kate Boy are flourishing with the synth sensibilities of both climes and a groundswell of critical support the world over. Their first few singles have been nothing short of pristine, a bipolar fusion of ice cold synths and warm enveloping beats, and new single "The Way We Are" maintains the impossibly high standard they've established thus far. Its churning synths and concussive percussion reinforce the explosive teen-streaked vocals with the dark and stormy personality of Wednesday Addams fronting Icona Pop or The Knife, as the whole thing goes full Silent Shout in the finale.

We're bringing Kate Boy over for their debut US shows in NYC and LA next month, and with the band's Popshop Brooklyn show supporting HAIM already sold out (in 45 minutes no less), interested parties are going to want to lock in their NYC and LA tickets in posthaste.

After hosting the worldwide live debut of Shaun White and his new band Bad Things last month, we're back with another highly anticipated live debut as Bom Bom step into the spotlight for the very first time at our next Popshop West throwdown. Then holding down the main support slot we've got our men in black, Lovelife, before Sweden's next great hope Kate Boy closes out the night in the headline as they make their LA debut on our stage.
