AMERICAN DREAM.
This just in, found footage from Marina & The Diamonds' debut television performance on Estonia's premier music revue program, Pop! Joining her is the infamous Gonzales, who lends his orchestral genius and priceless facial expressions to "Hollywood", Marina's finest pop moment to date and the first proper taste of her phenomenal debut album, The Family Jewels.

The single's out February 1st and comes sporting the bands signature cover artwork, and will be available as usual from the Neon Gold Shop in the US and at Puregroove for our international customers. Given the hype this lot have generated so far, we don't expect this one to stay on shelves long, so get a-steppin' friends.

AND MY BODY GOES.
"Starry Eyed" first lit up the blogs last spring in its original demo form, but now it's back with a new makeover for 2010 as Ellie Goulding gears up to release it as her debut single proper on Polydor next month. With a few tweaks here and there and a glossy new paint job from Starsmith, the track is bigger than ever and we're breathless in anticipation of the havoc it's sure to wreak on the charts when it drops February 22nd. The single is already pretty much the total package, but sweetening the deal considerably is an amazing new OneInThree-directed video for the single (viewable in all it's next level glory above), as well as a flurry of shit hot remixes supporting the release, the first of which we've got for you here today.
Proving once again why he's the most underrated remixer in the game, Russ Chimes comes through with his finest effort to date on what's sure to go down as one of 2010's biggest club tracks. Russ first sent this through to us last spring when the demo first surfaced, and nearly a full year on it still hasn't lost any of its luster, consistently slaying us with its unrelenting house piano brilliance and that massive drop that never ceases to send us into paralytic shock with its sheer immensity. Seriously people, get ready to hear this on the regular in every club west of the iron curtain this year, Russ Chimes just owned 2010.

ERASE THE PAST.
So we've clearly been a little bit hung up on Fear of Tigers as of late, but can you blame us? That Mille remix is straight BANANAS, his Cossus Snufsigalonica album is the shit, and now he's hit us with this totally rad video for Cossus standout "I Can Make The Pain Disappear" that we can't take our eyes off of. We already posted the track a few weeks back, but it's good enough to have another dance with, and the video (above) is 1000% worth your time. Three Ninjas 4 life y'all.

YOU'VE MADE A HOLE IN MY HEART.
Further info on all of that in the months to come, but for now we turn our eyes to two of the brightest prospects for pop music in 2010, our beloved Sound of Arrows and everyone's favorite guilty pleasure Alphabeat. Having jumped the sinking ship that is EMI, Alphabeat have found a new home on Universal and look set to build on the runaway success of their Gold-selling debut album. The Sound of Arrows roll into the new year on a swelling wave of hype (including Single of the Year honors from Popjustice) and a fully-loaded arsenal of pop smashes, and high expectations as the next great hope for Swedish pop. Their remix of Alphabeat's upcoming single "Hole In My Heart" (which is a little bit amazing in its own right) is a holy matrimony of Scandinavian pop bliss, as the duo take the massive original and somehow make it even more immense, all spiraling electronics and pulsing synths converging to establish The Sound of Arrows as one of the brightest new talents in the remix game. Thanks to Discodust for the tip.
