DON'T JUST DREAM IN YR SLEEP.

Swim Deep's latest and greatest "Honey" has just about the best hook you'll hear out of the UK all year ("don't just dream in your sleep, it's just lazyyy"), carrying on from their immaculate Chess Club debut "King City" in fine form. Already singed and honed to sonic perfection, we thought it was case closed until Montreal's Love Thy Brother tapped in and injected their Disney prince of a remix directly into our bloodstream. What follows is a coupling of heavy Daft Punk temperature drops and light galactic Fred Falke chords that swirl together like heavenly bodies in the November sky. We just walked into our favorite video game and we're never leaving.

YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR ME.

Ahead of tonight's Popshop blowout, Ghost Beach mashed up Fred Falke's "8:08PM At The Beach" with the Beach's very own summer anthem, "Too Young". May we present: "9:09PM At The Ghost Beach". It's nothing short of headrush magic, as Ocean's vocals mesh spectacularly with Falke's lush nu-groove backdrop. It's the perfect way to close out another colorful season of sun, as we look forward to peeling open the next New York summer. Tickets are still available HERE, so come out tonight and jumpstart your autumn the right way.

POPSHOP019: FRED FALKE

Next month marks a magical occasion on which the stars align and not only do Popshop NYC and Popshop Brooklyn both fall on the same weekend, but said weekend also marks the four year anniversary of Neon Gold as we look to turn four years AWESOME in style. To celebrate this milestone, our flagship club night, Popshop NYC is going extra large with the LEGEND, Fred Falke, presiding as the maestro of ceremonies in the headline slot. Supporting him are our new go-to partystarters Ghost Beach, and as it's an anniversary show you better believe we'll have a few special guests in the mix. As usual it's all going down at Santos Party House, with doors at 9pm sharp and advance tix now available HERE. This is your formal invite to our birthday party, presence mandatory.

I'M GONNA TAKE YOU OUT TONIGHT.

We're not quite sold on Little Boots as the second coming that the British media are making her out to be, but we're not gonna front like she's not going to be all kinds of huge in 2009. Between the five massive singles (and counting) she's already got in her arsenal and the sexy math teacher video that's just begging to be made for "Mathematics", expect Ms. Hesketh to be wreaking all kinds of havoc on the charts in the months to come. The next two singles coming down the pike will be "New In Town" and "Every Little Earthquake" (both incredible), and 679 have pulled out all the stops on the remix front, enlisting the services of The Golden Filter, Fred Falke, Drop The Lime and our boys Dekker & Johan with even more mixes supposedly on the way.
